Belgian-born songwriter Tamino has shared new song ‘Willow’.
An artist who operates in numerous lanes, music has always been close to Tamino’s heart. Incoming album ‘Every Dawn’s A Mountain’ is the fullest expression of this, and it’s scheduled to land on March 21st.
The final preview of the project is now online, with ‘Willow’ acting as an expression of loss, and perseverance.
With the titular tree acting as its central image, the track rises and falls, propelled forwards by Tamino’s imperious vocal.
“The paradox of the willow is that when it dies and loses all its vines, its trunk gets to see the
sun,” Tamino explains. “In other words, its heart gets a new life. The tree no longer weeps and
finally finds solace in the glow of the sun.”
Out now, ‘Willow’ is accompanied by a bold performance clip, shot in a New York apartment.
