Tame Impala Prepare ‘Live Versions’

Record Store Day release planned

Tame Impala are a band who thrive on live performance.

The group have spent more than 12 months on the road, following the stunning success of second album 'Lonerism'.

Watching as their material stretches and bends into new shapes, Tame Impala have decided to gather a document of this process.

'Live Versions' is a special Record Store Day release, recorded at a show in Chicago last year. Handpicked by Kevin Parker, the tracks were chosen to showcase the difference between live/studio versions.

Due out on April 19th, check out the live version of 'Be Above It' below.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala have signed to Fiction in the UK. Fiction MD Jim Chancellor had this to say about the band joining their roster: "Fiction is beside itself with excitement about working with Tame Impala. We have gazed longingly at them for several years in festival fields and dreamed of such a day! We are honoured and ready."

'Live Versions' will be released on April 19th. Tracklisting:

1. Endors Toi (Live Version)
2. Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind (Live Version)
