T. Williams is set to return to the Dread D moniker for his first grime release in a decade.
Perhaps now better known as a purveyor of immaculately funky underground house music, T. Williams was one of the foremost production voices in grime's initial onslaught.
A member of Black Ops, his releases under the Dread D moniker helped to set out the stall for heavyweight bass music at 140 for the decade to come.
Returning to the Dread D identity, T. Williams is set to release new cut 'Seige' through Local Action shortly. Using the soundkit from his Black Ops days, T. Williams applies years of studio expertise to produce something that utilises ideas from both 2005 and 2015.
Absolutely not an exercise in nostalgia, this is serious grime fare that continues to smash down the barricades. Check it out below and order it HERE.
Catch T. Williams/Dread D live at Peckham's Rye Wax on November 26th for the all vinyl, hefty dubs launch night ft. Dread D, Riz La Teef and Oil Gang.
