Swimming have added a new member to their ranks, with Late Of The Pier’s Sam Potter joining the ranks.
Fast rising Nottingham band Swimming don’t have any time to lose. So when Andy Wright decided to depart and focus on his own WeShowUpOnRadar project, the band lost no time in finding a replacement.
Shooting over the details to ClashMusic, you can read a statement from Swimming (complete with a doodle from Sam Potter) below.

Ola dear Swimming pals and palettes,
In January 2012 we took a stroll in the sun and reformed in a new light…
First to emerge was Sam Potter (of Late of The Pier) who has joined us on keyboard and samplers and drew this timely image for us all.
He is filling the gap left by our dearly beloved Andy Wright, who is finishing his debut WeShowUpOnRadar album. You can follow him here.. https://twitter.com/WeShowUpOnRadar
Sam’s first gig with us will be in Cologne as part of our European tour with The Megaphonic Thrift….
