Supergrass are set to be immortalized on the silver screen when a new documentary DVD on the band, titled “Glange Fever”, is released on August 4th.
The new Supergrass rockumentary is a fascinating and entertaining insight into the band’s ‘Diamond Hoo Ha Men’ tour. When bassist Mick Quinn broke his back, the band decided to tour as a two-piece. These dates at the tail end of 2007 provide a unique insight into how the band operated in the light of these tragic developments.
A suitable companion piece to the band’s quite excellent “Diamond Hoo Ha Man” album, “Glange Fever” comes with over a hour of extras including many live performances. Of course, one of the Diamond Hoo Ha Men’s most infamous gigs was at a Clash Club event in London – I wonder if we made the cut?
