Summer Sundae Weekender 2008 is set to be the greenest yet, with the news that the organisers have teamed up with the charity Sustrans to make the event carbon neutral.
Summer Sundae Weekender is renowned as one of the most environmentally friendly festivals in the UK, and in 2007 was awarded the “A Greener Festival” Red kite mark.
The following acts have already been confirmed for Summer Sundae Weekender: Supergrass, The Coral, Simian Mobile Disco, King Creosote, Roisin Murphy and many others.
Summer Sundae Weekender takes place in De Monfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester over the weekend of August 8th – 10th.
