A highly controversial figure, Suge Knight has often been associated with violence.
However few could have predicted last week's events. The hip hop mogul was involved in a hit and run incident, which left one person dead and several injured.
Handing himself over to authorities, Billboard now reports that Los Angeles County district attorney Jackie Lacey has charged Suge Knight with murder.
If convicted, he could face life behind bars. In all, the Death Row Records founder has been charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of hit and run.
Currently being held without bail, Suge Knight faces arraignment today (February 3rd) at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Compton.
The case is currently being investigated by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Major Crimes Division.
