Suave n Thick have shared their brand new single ‘Long Distance’, released via their own imprint Suave n Thick LLC.

A smokey, after-hours jam through and through, the Brooklyn duo have returned with a track oozing in charisma and finesse. Stemming from feelings of infatuation and longing, the song’s production leans into a grooving funk and bass, hinting towards the influence of West Coast rap.

Since making their debut, Suave n Thick have worked with some of hip-hop’s most vital producers, from Rawsmoov to megaTRONG and Strew-B. Now, they’re cranking up a gear as they follow up the release of their 6-track EP ‘TEXTURES’.  Drawing influence from the likes of 50 CentMichael JacksonCardo, and Kaytranada, they cruise between old skool nostalgia and the contemporary, a balance that builds the foundations of ‘Long Distance’.

Speaking on the track, the rising outfit detail: “‘Long Distance’ is a collaborative effort between us and a London based producer, Eclectic. The record utilizes elements of west coast hip hop, contemporary R&B, and even pop to capture the feeling of longing for that special someone as distance makes the heart grow fonder.”
