The Streets are set to return soon with an as yet untitled fourth LP, and Mike Skinner has offered fans an exclusive glimpse of the album by placing four short previews on his myspace page.
Unbelievably, it is six years since The Streets burst onto the music scene with debut album “Original Pirate Material” and in that time Mike Skinner has become acclaimed as one of the most unique poetic voices working today. Follow up “A Grand Don’t Come For Free” was a concept album and sold, all in all, over 3 million copies.
Mike Skinner has been hard at work crafting his fourth album, and material has been kept under lock and key with fans at fever pitch to find out what the new record will sound like.
The minute long tracks are “The Escapist”, “The Way Of The Dodo”, “The Sherry End” and “On The Flip Of The Coin”.
No release date or title has been given for the new album.
