Panda Bear has supplied a blissful remix of Korallreven’s new cut ‘As Young As Yesterday’.
A partnership between Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder, Korallreven have arrived fairly anonymously. Sure, Daniel Tjäder is recognisable from The Radio Dept. but the duo have managed to let their music do the talking.
Completing work on their debut LP, the sensibly titled ‘An Album By Korallreven’ is due to be released on November 15th.
Lead cut ‘As Young As Yesterday’ is a good indication of what to expect. Ethereal vocals veer in and out behind a gauze of electronics, with Victoria Bergsman almost stealing the show with a guest appearance.
Set to be released on 12 inch, remixes have come courtesy of Girl Unit and Panda Bear. Noah Lennox has added another layer of bliss to the recording, which you can stream below…
