A pair of pre-release streams to launch your week...

Monday is never the best day to start your week - and sadly most of us face this trauma four times every month.

However to lighten this load we have two truly great albums for your ears, both a week before the rest of the world gets their mitts on them, both streaming on our funky smartphone app.

Mr Scruff and Plaid both line-up to debut their wares on our lush digital environment available to download for free HERE.

First up Ninja Tune’s Mr Scruff drops his ‘Friendly Bacteria’ into our metaphorical coffee. And it's lush. Gone are the fish motifs and quirky tacks. Instead we find a depth and maturity that is new and captivating. Still resolutely Ninja Tune, but with a production and linear descent that ensured we were proud to present this one ahead of the pack.

Secondly, one of our favourite Warp Records acts flit back into our ears like the aerial muses that they’ve always been. Plaid present their tenth album ‘Reachy Prints’, nine new tracks of cerebral splendour, and it’s waiting for you now. Worth it alone just to hear this blistering wonder that is ‘Matin Lunaire’

Both albums are released on 19th May.
