Night Slugs are streaming material from L-Vis 1990 as part of their Club Constructions series.
Night Slugs aren’t exactly renowned for their shy, self-effacing attitude. The label specialise on churning out total bangers, fluorescent coloured bass bombs that are capable of melting soundsystems from the inside.
So when Night Slugs confirmed plans to launch a new club focussed imprint, we stopped eating our crisps and started paying attention. Club Constructions launches later this month with a release from L-Vis 1990, which FACT claims will come adorned with the words: “strictly for peak time usage”.
Despite making his name with the label, L-Vis 1990 actually released his debut album ‘Neon Dreams’ via Island offshoot PMR. Marking a return to Night Slugs, the five track release is a heavy, relentless listen.
