King Krule is streaming his debut album '6 Feet Beneath The Moon' – listen to it now.
King Krule is inseparable from London. Growing up in the borough of Lewisham, the youthful songwriter seemed to allow his environs to seep into his imagination, forging into one distinctive dreamscape.
Debut album '6 Feet Beneath The Moon' is set to be released on August 24th, and speaks vividly of life in the capital. Streaming online, label XL Recordings have opted for something quite special.
A rolling stream (users can't skip between tracks) the album is matched to images from CCTV cameras placed around London. It's a curious idea – one which directly matches King Krule to his surroundings in a charming, poetic way.

Of course, Clash has already heard the album. Writer Joe Zadeh opined: "British music fans should gaze upon King Krule with great pride. Under immense expectation, he has managed to become the product of his far-flung influences, rather than a pastiche of any."
