David Lynch has crafted a one off mixtape ahead of new album ‘Crazy Clown Time’.
A cursory glance at a David Lynch film reveals a director who realises the impact music can have. The film maker has crafted some iconic scenes, mixing striking cinematography with a diverse array of music.
So it comes as no surprise to find that David Lynch has an eclectic taste. London magazine The Stool Pigeon invited the director to construct a mixtape, allowing the director to move from genre to genre.
The results are typically broad. Opening with Gary Clark Jr, the mixtape contains a lot of blues and rockabilly. Alongside this, the mixtape includes The Kills and James Blake before ending with This Mortal Coil.
