Bloc Party are streaming their upcoming album ‘FOUR’ via their official website.
Well, the wait is over. Pulling themselves out of a self-imposed hiatus last year, Bloc Party began work on their fourth studio album.
Set to be released on August 20th, ‘FOUR’ is already causing a big impression. Clash writer Jamie Carson came away suitably impressed, praising the material’s heavier moments: “it’s in these heavier rip-out-your-piercings tracks that the frontman’s stronger emotions are unveiled – and where a new Bloc Party prepare to emerge”.

Now Bloc Party are streaming the new album in full on their website. ‘FOUR’ is available to listen to now, with the band also expanding on the four theme.
Alongside the obvious references (album title / members in the band /fourth album / colours and circles on the album sleeve) Bloc Party are allowing fans to invite four friends from their Facebook page to stream the album.
A nice piece of interaction, and we’re sure it won’t exactly harm their hit-rate either. Stream ‘FOUR’ HERE.
