The UK hyphenate blends hip-hop beats with R&B songwriting, mixing up his flows in the process. The past 12 months has brought a flood of music from Strandz, underpinning his artistry with a flow of fresh ideas.
Out now, new single ‘An Idea Was Born’ adds extra elements to his work. Strandz links with tendai – a Clash favourite with his jazz-leaning sound – and the two seem to push each other into a fresh space.
The song comes from the heart, a moment of pause in mid-winter which offers Strandz the chance to reflect. He comments…
