STONE’s second EP will be out on October 27th.
‘Punkadonk 2’ comes as a follow-up to last year’s ‘Punkadonk’, the Liverpool outfit’s debut EP since establishing themselves via their raucous live shows.
On ‘Punkadonk 2’, the band offers explorations of identity, ego, and the impossible standards felt by young people. The first introduction to the project comes with the release of their new single ‘If You Wanna’, a bouncing call to “break the mould / if you wanna / change your life”. It’s carried by frontperson Fin Power’s characteristic bravado, built for festival crowds as well as the intimate rooms where they made their name. Reflecting on the track’s lyrics, the band explain…
“With ‘If You Wanna,’ we wanted to write the type of song you would wanna sing along to with your friends. The song is about finding positivity in this colourful Gen Z experience.”
Catch STONE on the road with Australian band DMA’s this winter, including two nights at London’s HERE At Outernet venue on December 17th and 18th; STONE will complete four headline shows in March 2024.
Tune in now.
