Still Corners are set to release their second album 'Strange Pleasures' on May 6th.
Part of a new breed of dream pop groups swarming out of the capital, Still Corners' debut album 'Creatures Of An Hour' was packed with subtle idiosyncrasies. Sparking a series of international shows, the band have taken their time over a follow up.
Now, though, a second LP is in sight. 'Strange Pleasures' is set to be released on May 6th, with Sub Pop once again providing Still Corners with safe haven. Continuing to challenge themselves, the band are able to move forward without losing sight of the flavours which made their debut so seductive. “I’ll never be satisfied with any of it, I need to keep trying new things" explained Greg Hughes. “Still Corners is The Enterprise, for me.”
Lead single 'Berlin Lovers' has already emerged online. Available for the price of an email address, it's shimmering, cinematic charm is difficult to shrug off. Find 'Berlin Lovers' HERE.
