Stevie Bill Entices With ‘The Boy Who Cried Love’

"You're just another fable..."

Alt-pop riser Stevie Bill has shared her new single ‘The Boy Who Cried Love’.

The multi-national songwriter speaks the language of pop fluently, with her experiences honed by a stint at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute at NYU. Working on a number of different projects, Stevie has earned credits on a flurry of releases, including rei brown and Joji’s latest.

Her own work is well worth seeking out. The half-Dutch, half-English artist feels reminiscent of Zara Larsson in her sparkling independence, and new single ‘The Boy Who Cried Love’ certainly underlines her precocious promise.

Out now, the pristine production is aligned to a biting vocal from Stevie Bill, who takes aim at a boy who catches feelings, but then ducks out of a relationship. Lyrically, she teases out each word, warning: “You’re just another fable…”

It all builds to that effervescent chorus, with Stevie Bill punching home her undoubted promise.

Tune in now.
