Steven Tyler, the rubber lipped singer with Aerosmith, has taken a tumble off stage during a gig in South Dakota causing head, neck and shoulder injuries and sparking internet rumours of his death.
The band were performing at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the Buffalo Chip Campground, South Dakota when the stage suffered a power cut. Reports say Tyler fell from the stage while dancing and entertaining the crowd during the power cut. He was taken to hospital but no further news of his condition has been released.
Reports of the accident have been blown out of proportion in some parts of the Internet with reports of Tyler’s death turning up on the Google Trends (indicators of current hot topics online) site this afternoon.
