Scottish indie don Steve Mason is set to release a new single ahead of his Autumn tour.
Returning with his new album ‘Boys Outside’ Steve Mason has proved that he has plenty of creativity left in him. Through his work with The Beta Band, King Biscuit Time and more the songwriter has established himself as a new voice.
By turns psychedelic yet whimsical, carefree yet serious Steve Mason has attracted a cult following. Produced by Richard X ‘Boys Outside’ is one of the most complete albums the singer has released under his own name.
Recent single ‘Am I Just A Man’ was given a re-working by Hot Chip’s own Alexis Taylor, adding some disco chic to the light skank of the original.
Now Steve Mason has confirmed a new single. The title track of his recent album, ‘Boys Outside’ is due to be released on October 25th. Gentle songwriting buoyed by Mason’s wonderful voice, the track will come with some unusual remixes.
A preview for his upcoming tour, Steve Mason has been busy of late. Dropping by the Black Cab Sessions the singer performed a stripped back version of ‘All Come Down’… in the back of a taxi.
