Following Blur’s reformation Clashmusic have decided to stick with the mid 90s nostalgia and bring you news of Steve Cradock’s debut solo effort ‘The Kundalini Target’ due for release in February.
Emerging from the baggy scene in the early 90s, Ocean Colour Scene became involved in a record company dispute that kept them sidelined for almost five years. Re-appearing with ‘Moseley Shoals’, the stunningly successful 1996 album, the band became one of Britain’s biggest.
Remaining a hugely popular live attraction, Ocean Colour Scene played a sensational set at V Festival last year. Cradock, long time member of Paul Weller’s touring band, has taken time off to prepare his debut solo album.
Titled ‘The Kundalini Target’ it contains ten tracks that find the rock ‘n’ roller relaxing into married life. Typically eclectic it is inspired by the sixties yet retains its own unique edge.
