Stephen Stills, a legendary figure in music due to his work with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and (occassionally) Young, is recovering in hospital after surgery.
Stills, who has been suffering from prostate cancer, went under the knife on January 3rd – his 63rd birthday. After gaining world stardom with CSN&Y Stills has kept active, releasing material in each decade since. His last album – a collection of demos from 1968 entitled “Just Roll Tape” – was released only last year.
Stephen Stills is expected to fully recover, and has even scheduled a North American tour for the Spring. He is also due to appear at the Sundance Festival debut of the Neil Young directed motion picture “CSN&Y / Deja Vu”, detailing the CSN&Y reunion tour.
