Stephen Sanchez has shared his new single ‘Until I Found You’.
The song dips into his vintage aesthetic, the reverb-soaked guitars recalling those lush, languid 50s ballads. There’s a modern twist, however, but his heart-on-sleeve sincerity bowls you over in its simple emotion.
The Nashville based artist is teasing his incoming EP, with ‘Easy On My Eyes’ set to appear on August 5th. Late night TV is perhaps his natural environment, with Stephen Sanchez appearing on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night.
Performing the song live, his Elvis Comeback Special themed set up left the audience gobsmacked – and the video is equally impressive.
Diving headlong into those 50s vibes, ‘Until I Found You’ features the crooner performing alongside a Marilyn Monroe lookalike. America’s sweetheart? Well, that beleagoured country may have found its next star.
