Bruce Springsteen is pulling out all the stops in his support of US presidential candidate Barack Obama, adding two more show to his packed schedule.
The Boss is firmly behind Democrat candidate Barack Obama. Having spent much of the summer raising funds for the politician, Springsteen intends to travel the US during Autumn spreading the word. Obama has already raised more money than any candidate in history, but with the race too close to call every cent counts.
Bruce Springsteen has added two college dates, and is set to play Ohio State University and Eastern Michigan University on October 5th and 6th respectively. Tickets are available from Barack Obama’s official site and through the Campaign For Change offices.
Still on the Springsteen trail, the New Jersey rock ‘n’ roller will also be playing a benefit with Ricky Gervais in New York. ‘Stand Up for Heroes: A Benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation’ will take place at Town Hall, New York on November 5th.
