One of America’s most enduring and popular artists Bruce Springsteen is to have his career immortalised in a new exhibition.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, USA, will unveil its latest exhibit, ‘From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen’ on Wednesday 1st April during the 2009 Induction Ceremony week of events.
A comprehensive overview of Springsteen’s career, it follows the New Jersey star from his days with the power trio Child to his recent Obama inspired album ‘Working On A Dream’.
Containing some unique exhibits, this exhibition looks to be a treasure trove for fans. Amongst the items on display will be the guitar Springsteen wears on the cover of ‘Born To Run’.
In addition to this, the exhibition will also contain numerous handwritten lyric sheets and even the 1960 Chevrolet Corvette which the songwriter purchased following the success of ‘Born To Run’.
Bruce Springsteen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
The new exhibition ‘From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen’ opens on April 1st.
