Splashh have posted the video for their recent B-side ‘Headspins’ online – watch it below.
Often viewed as being part of this here 90s resurgence schtick, in reality Splashh are a far more exciting, confusing proposition than that handle might suggest.
Infusing their hazy, fuzzed up jams with a real sense of melancholy, the band released their debut single ‘Need It’ earlier this year. An immaculately formed piece of slacker pop, Splashh backed the track with new cut ‘Headspins’.
Now ‘Headspins’ has received the video treatment. Cosmo MacDonald has pieced together a clip for the track, which utilises tour footage shot from a number of British shows.
Capturing a buzz band in full flight, the video has a contagious energy which is difficult to deny. Watch it below.
