Spiritualized Return With New Album

‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’ due on April 16th

Spiritualized are set to release their new album ‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’ on April 16th.

One of the most inspiring British groups of their generation, Spiritualized are back. Led by J Spaceman, the group completed sessions for a new album last year before illness delayed the final mixdown.

Working from his home studio, J Spaceman painstakingly pieced the material together. ‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’ is now complete, with the album set to be released on April 16th.

First, up: the tracklisting.

Some things to note:

– ‘So Long You Pretty Thing’ features guest vocals from Poppy Spaceman (Jason Pierce’s daughter) who also writes the opening verse

– ‘I Am What I Am’ was co-written with Dr John, who of course played on the previous Spiritualized cut ‘Cop Shoot Cop’

– That’s the cover up yonder. ‘Huh?’ – indeed

Spiritualized have also unveiled new track ‘Hey Jane’ – listen to it below.
