Vital London new music hub Speedy Wunderground have shared plans for their new 'Year 4' compilation.
The imprint was founded by Dan Carey, and operates out of his South London studio.
The format for their singles club is deceptively simple – take one act, place them in the studio for one day, and whatever happens gets released.
Growing from strength to strength, Speedy Wunderground is run by Dan Carey, Alexis Smith and Pierre Hall, growing to become an influential platform.
Take the tracklisting for new compilation 'Year 4'. Out on December 6th, it features music by Mercury nominated math-core wizards Black Midi, hotly rated Brighton group Squid, Black Country New Road, Sinead O'Brien, and more.
Out digitally and on 12 inch vinyl, you can pre-order a copy HERE.
"This definitely feels like a definitive collection for us," say label co-runner/A & R Pierre Hall, "we love all the compilations, but this just feels like a real snapshot in time, all the bands and artists involved – despite being separate releases – all feel really connected."
