"There’s nothing better than a group of people just losing it, all singing along to something a bit miserable..."

Spector have shared their new single 'Half Life' alongside a huge array of tour dates.

The band are on the comeback trail, playing some London underplay shows and breaking in new material.

New single 'Half Life' is out now, and it allows Spector full rein to showcase their love for vintage Depeche Mode.

A synth-addled indie odyssey, it's a sad bop that finds Fred MacPherson revelling in serious FOMO.

In a press note he says the single is about “the worry that you’re losing touch with people, places, culture, no longer recognising yourself in the mirror, the constant tick of the clock in the background. It’s about wondering how much time you have left.”

The single will be accompanied by a massive Autumn tour, one that moves from the south coast all the way up to Glasgow.

“There’s nothing better than a group of people just losing it, all singing along to something a bit miserable,” Fred comments. “That’s the life blood of the indie disco, handed down from generation to generation… Dancing with tears in your eyes.”
