Sour Ops Return with ‘How Rock and Roll You Are’

The Nashville band set pace with their first release of the year...

Sour Ops are marking their return with brand new single ‘How Rock and Roll You Are’.

The track sets off with a feel-good groove, led by its gritty riffs, big drums and distorted vocals from Price Harrison. Merging forces with Tony Frost, George Lilly and Mark Harrison, the outfit re-imagine the sounds of T-Rex, AC-DC and The Kinks with a slight country twist. Weaving between warm hooks and more punchy, risk-taking verses, ‘How Rock And Roll You Are’ takes things a step further for the band.

Hailing from Nashville, Sour Ops have been going from strength to strength – fresh off the back of last year’s third studio album ‘Deep Fake’. From start to finish, the body of work pushes the band further towards the next wave of post-punk, whilst maintaining a raw, nostalgic essence.

Consistently striving to create and experiment more with their craft, ‘How Rock and Roll You Are’ presents Sour Ops at their most succinct and hard-hitting. A stage-ready offering that will surely win crowds over.

The band add: “The subject of the song has embraced the “punk” style / fashion of rock and roll rather than the individualistic / authentic spirit of the form.”

Tune in now.
