Belgian beat boffins Soulwax are set to unveil a new documentary on their touring activities when “Part Of The Weekend Never Dies” is released on September 8th.
The four members of Soulwax have collaborated with director Saam Farahmand on the new tour documentary “Part Of The Weekend Never Dies”. Following the adventures of Radio Soulwax as they play over 120 shows in all four corners of the globe, rocking countless audience members along the way.
The cast includes Soulwax as well as their DJ counterparts 2ManyDJs, and features guest appearances from LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, Erol Alkan, Tiga, Justice and many more. The film features live footage, interviews and behind the scenes footage of one dance music’s biggest ever tours.
The film will have its premiere at the Ether festival in the Royal Festival Hall, London on April 24th. This will then be followed by a full UK tour by Soulwax, featuring 2ManyDJs and loads of surprise guests.
“Part Of The Weekend Never Dies” will be released on DVD in September.
