Tune in now...

UK project Soul Revivers link with reggae icon Ken Boothe on new single 'Tell Me Why'.

The project is helmed by David Hill and Nick Manasseh, with the duo reaching out to some stellar guests.

New album 'On The Grove' is out on March 11th through Acid Jazz, and it finds Soul Revivers drawing on collaborators from the UK's stellar jazz scene.

Alongside this Soul Revivers also tap up true legends of Jamaican music, with 'Harder' featuring guitarist Ernest Ranglin.

We're able to share new song 'Tell Me Why' and it's skanking groove is paired up with a supple vocal from the reggae master himself, Ken Boothe.

A pivotal figure in the evolution of Jamaican music, his soulful approach has always been aligned to the plight of the underdog, with 'Tell Me Why' taking this right up to date.

Soul Revivers' David Hill and Nick Manasseh…

"We're both huge fans of Ken Boothe, so it was a real privilege to work with him. He started recording in the early 1960s, a time when news and political views were often expressed through song in Jamaica. Ken upholds that tradition in 'Tell Me Why' as he bemoans the state of the modern world, and in particular its relentless communication culture."

Tune in now.
