Solange is set to curate a special digital display at the Tate Modern tonight (August 25th).
The American artist has crafted the work to coincide with the acclaimed Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power exhibition at London's Tate Modern.
New digital display Seventy States is billed as an "exploration of visual language" it features material from the videos for 'Cranes In The Sky' and 'Don't Touch My Hair', as well 'We Sleep In Our Clothes', an original performance and score created by Solange.
Crafted in collaboration with Carlota Guerra, Seventy States also features an installation by Ricardo Basbaum and was directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz.
The display will also feature two poems. Solange comments: "I wanted to create a specific scenography through movement and landscape to communicate my states of process through this record, I decided to do this through a visual language".
