Brighton based Sofia Ford has shared her new single ‘Big Deal’.
Brought up in South London, Sofia Ford has always been besotted with music, quickly teaching herself guitar, bass, keys, and drums, all while honing her skills as a songwriter.
A move to Brighton followed, with this precocious talent – still only 19 years old – throwing herself into studio work.
New single ‘Big Deal’ has a 90s alt-rock flavour, the crunching guitar riff aligned to that bittersweet vocal. A song about moving through negativity and learning to embrace your self-worth, ‘Big Deal’ feels like an anthem-in-waiting for this stellar artist.

“I want it to be an empowering song for anyone who feels that they have been put down and are not good enough. Also you should never be changed into something you are not, you should be confident and work hard in what you do and if people are not supportive then you should move on.”
