SOAK has picked up the Choice Music Prize for her debut album 'Before We Forgot How To Dream'.
The Choice is essentially Ireland's equivalent of the Mercury – a prize voted for by music industry professionals, and dedicated to the art of the album.
'Before We Forgot How to Dream' was written while SOAK was still in her teens, and was rewarded with lavish praise on its release last year.
A genuinely likeable (and extremely talented soul), SOAK is a worthy winner. Congrats, Bridie!
