Stateside sandwich firm Quiznos leaped on the backlash, producing one of the funniest festival-based pastiches we've seen in some time.
The food chain released a fake movie trailer called Burn Trials – Out Of The Maze And Onto The Playa and it neatly skewers the odd contradictions amidst the Burning Man ethos.
Pointing out that the anti-commercial event requires a helluva lot of money to actually get to, it also parodies the event's much-vaunted barter system and the use of so-called 'playa names' – in other words, bizarre alter egos for grown adults.
