Politicians and pop music often go together like petrol and water.
From Gordon Brown's claim to be a massive Arctic Monkeys fan to David Cameron's continual attempts to convince the public that he's heard a Smiths record, the recent track record of the House Of Commons is less than stellar.
In a profile for the Mail On Sunday, George Osborne explained that the most exciting concert he's ever seen in his life was N.W.A. at Brixton Academy in the early 90s.
A quick internet search reveals that N.W.A. did in fact play Brixton in 1991, just as the initial line up of the rap legends began to disintegrate – so he could well be telling the truth.
