Rumours of Catfish And The Bottlemen's demise appear to have been exaggerated.
It's been one of this summer's talking points – Catfish And The Bottlemen were destined to split, after a decade (and three studio albums) together.
Playing Reading and Leeds, Catfish And The Bottlemen then performed at Neighbourhood festival over the weekend… yet no announcement has been forthcoming.
The Sun's Bizarre column reported the split a few weeks back, noting that the Welsh band have made some striking changes at Companies House, with their touring company CATB Live LLP no longer listing band members Benji Blakeway, Johnny Bond, and Bob Hall as owners.
It hasn't helped that Catfish have been so inactive on socials – their last post on Twitter came 12 months ago, while Instagram is simply scheduled show announces.
Widely expected to confirm their split following Neighbourhood, the band have instead done the opposite, announcing another show.
Catfish And The Bottlemen will support Stereophonics in Cardiff on December 23rd – alongside Tom Jones, no less.
So, what gives?
Is this simply a contractual move that has gotten out of hand? Are the band taking time out? Will the Cardiff show be their last?
We're reaching out to their reps.
