Copenhagen duo Snuggle have shared their next single on buzzy Copenhagen imprint Escho, the end-of-times lovesong ‘Dust’.
Snuggle – made up of Andrea Thuesen (Baby in Vain) and former Liss producer Vilhelm Strange – follow up their psychedelic cut ‘Marigold’, released earlier this year, with the dewy-eyed warmth of ‘Dust’.
Bright yet vertiginous, a shadowy presence lingers in Thuesen’s blithe, dystopian lyrics and Strange’s gauzy guitar textures. Of the track, Snuggle say: “‘Dust’ is our love song for an apocalypse; sunburnt skin, melting ice cream, and chaos humming in the back of everyone’s mind. Miss David Lynch.”
Snuggle join Escho’s growing roster of experimental musicians from the Nordic region, including Astrid Sonne, Smerz, Fine and more. They released their last EP, ‘Calendula’, in 2023.
