Smoke Fairies have shared new single ‘Seek It With Me’.
The band sculpted their intimate new album ‘Carried In Sound’ over our multiple lockdowns, using their home as an ad hoc studio base. Smoke Fairies utilised minimalism and restraint as themes throughout the work, which lands next month.
Out on November 17th, the latest single from ‘Carried In Sound’ has just been shared with the watching world. Online now, ‘Seek It With Me’ is a moment of joy, a whispered ode to happiness that illustrates the pair’s maturity, and their innate musicality.
The song finds Smoke Fairies – Katherine Blamire and Jessica Davies – looking to the future after challenging times, revelling in the coming of the light.

“Full of hope for the future, this song celebrates love with the invitation to seek and build a home together. When the worries and uncertainties of the world swirl around it looks inwards to the joy of feeling like you’re filling the room with love. We can’t know what the future holds so we just have to close our eyes and jump to see where we will flow.”
