Still in their teens when releasing their first record, Smith Westerns’ sound – brash, bold, gloriously unrefined – stuck out on the increasingly earnest Stateside indie scene.
Three albums down, the group have decided to call it quits. In a series of tweets, Smith Westerns frontman Cullen Omori explained that the band were going on indefinite hiatus following a show in their native Chicago on December 23rd.
