Slow Fiction Shine On New Single ‘End Of The Night’

The NYC group unleash their new EP this week...

New York indie risers Slow Fiction have shared new single ‘End Of The Night’.

The band played some packed out, ultra-buzzy sets across Brighton over the weekend, part of their British onslaught. Set to play London’s key tastemaker venue Brixton Windmill on May 21st, Slow Fiction release their new EP at the end of the week.

Out on May 24th via So Young Records, ‘Crush’ EP contains previous red-hot singles such as ‘January’ and ‘Monday’. The five-tracker also makes room for ‘End Of The Night’, a track that spotlights Slow Fiction at their most dynamic.

The crunching riff and thumping arrangement point to their searing live shows, blending post-punk aspects – Siouxsie, Bauhaus – with some NYC finesse. Vocalist Julia Vassallo is on terrific form, the lyric displaying some heart-on-sleeve amid the sonic maelstrom.
