Sleigh Bells have posted a new teaser for the Brooklyn duo’s forthcoming second album.
Emerging from the Brooklyn scene, Sleigh Bells’ debut album ‘Treats’ seemed effortless. Ostensibly a noise pop album, it showed Crystal Castles a thing or two about crafting a decent pop song while embracing a chaotic live show.
Spending time on the road, the duo aren’t ones to hang about. Sleigh Bells have been in the studio, with the Brooklyn pairing now deciding to tease fans with a short video.
Revealing the title of their second album to be ‘Reign Of Terror’ the short clip contains some rather heavy guitars… are Sleigh Bells admitting a Slayer fetish?
The video features Alexis Krauss looking icy cool, with the stylised nature of the shoot contrasting with clips from the Sleigh Bells live show which are inter-cut between Krauss’ grooming tips.
Bordering on Hollywood noir, the clip for ‘Reign Of Terror’ gives a few stylistic indications without revealing any direct intentions for Sleigh Bells’ new album.
