Sleepy Sun are to return with the release of their new album ‘Spine Hits’ on April 9th.
A psychedelic rock band? Some San Francisco? Sure, Sleepy Sun slot into a deep tradition but the band have their own identity, their own sound.
2010’s ‘Fever’ won widespread acclaim, and following a lengthy spell on the road it seems that the band are ready to return. ATP will play host to new album ‘Spine Hits’ and the previews are already flooding in thick and fast.
‘Stivey Pond’ is an edgy slice of hard formed psych, all concrete guitar lines and urgent vocals. Available as a free download, you can grab it in yonder widget.
