Slash Streams New Album

Listen to it now!

Former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash has made his forthcoming solo album available to stream online.

Slash is one of the most iconic guitarists of all time. Sure, there is his dextrous mixture of rock, latin and metal but aside from that the instantly recognisable musician has been wearing the same hat, leather trousers and shades combo for two decades.

Removed from Guns N Roses in 1993 after a turf war with singer Axl Rose, Slash has had a variable solo career. Working with Velvet Revolver, the guitarist stepped away from the wreckage of that group vowing to do things his way.

Working on a series of solo recordings, the result is finally about to be released. ‘Slash’ the album will hit the shops on May 10th, ending over a year of speculation.

For the release Slash has recruited an all star cast. Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne drops past to lend his vocals to one track, uniting two of the most important figures in the evolution of heavy rock.

Elsewhere Motorhead star Lemmy sings on one track, while Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale works with his boyhood hero.

Sure the inclusion of some guest vocalists doesn’t exactly come off – hello Fergie! – but overall the album is a thrilling indication of rock hits to come.
