Influential London clubnight Boxed is set to release an EP of brand new material later this year.
Boxed is a phenomenon. A laboratory for sound, it acts as a gathering point for the varied strands of what could be bracketed together as instrumental grime.
Now the team behind Boxed are set to release a new EP. Boxed001 features material from Slackk, Geeneus, Spokes and more, four tracks of diverse, probing electronics set at the 140 mark.
The press note states: "People have talked about "the Boxed sound", but key to Boxed's success is the range of sounds found at the club night: you're as likely to hear peak-time anthems by Trends and Spooky as you are mediative experiments by Sharp Veins."
