Skepta isn't some new hype, isn't some overnight success.
The MC has done things his way, the hard way. Spending the best part of a decade in the game, the grime don has recently earned some massive acclaim, with Drake half-inching one of his lines and Kanye West inviting the rapper (and a host of others) onstage at the BRITs.
It's only right, then, that Skepta has followed this with a track which absolutely blazes. 'Shutdown' is unrelenting from the off, with the harsh yet minimal beat affording the London artist plenty of room to light some fires.
Co-produced with Ragz Originale, 'Shutdown' will appear on Skepta's upcoming album '#Konnichiwa'.
