Simian Mobile Disco, soon to unleash new album ‘Temporary Pleasure’, have announced a special ‘human synthesiser’ installation designed by Kate Moross to promote the album.
Set up in a shop front on London’s Carnaby street, the “interactive augmented reality experience” has been masterminded by noted designer Kate Moross, (who has previous worked with the band, creating the new album’s cover artwork ), and produced by London based company Inition using their Magic Symbol technology.
The band themselves said, “this installation reflects the concepts behind the record – it’s brief, fun, and how could we resist the chance to augment the reality of the general public? We think people are going to really love the technology. The AR technology is amazing and we think people are going to love it.”
Open for visitors from the 17th to the 21st August, pop along for a very unique experience.
