Elsewhere, Sigur Ros multi-instrumentalist Kjartan Sveinsson has revealed that he will not be taking part in the band’s upcoming world tour. Singer Jonsi Birgisson told the Reykjavik Grapevine that Sveinsson “wants to spend his time doing something else” and feels that touring is “not necessarily the most productive” thing to do.
Instead, Sigur Ros will use a variety of replacement musicians during their upcoming live shows.
‘Valtari’ is set to be released on May 28th.
